Guys today is my last day in Chennai but last day left me with so many problems…

I had booked my flight in Air India at 820 in the evening. I packed everything properly and was ready to go. I threw many things to keep the luggage within the allowed limit of airline. I choose Air India because they allow 25 kg of luggage while others allow only 20kg.

I had booked the Fast-track cab to pick me up at 6 in the evening. The lady who booked my cab was not speaking proper English so I explained very clearly to her pickup time, address and that also 3 times but destiny cannot be changed!! Nobody came at 6 so called them again and the next lady, who picked up the phone, told me that your cab is booked for tomorrow!! How stupid can be that operator who booked tomorrows cab after 3 times repetition. Insane… at least they should hire some English speaking guys to handle the customer who cannot speak Tamil or if they cannot understand English then transfer call to some other operator. Now comes our 2^nd Madonna. I informed the 2^nd lady operator to send any taxy nearby home to pick me up urgently. She informed that yes there is one sedan in your area and can pick you in 15 min. Thank god… I thought these guys are good… but I was wrong. Nobody came after 15 min also. I called again but that guy has no clue about any booking!! In middle of the conversation I got a call from the driver so I finally thought it’s over. But still nooooo… Driver told I am far away from your area and will reach you in 15-20 min. Driver was speaking proper English but that operator couldn’t.!! Driver came at 650 PM.

I was happy now that I have finally got cab and within half an hour I will reach airport. But remember luck is still bad.. Just after some distance, we faced hell lot of traffic. Driver was very helpful and was trying his best to drop me airport at time. Driver informed me that he was told by operator to pick me from Thiruvanmiyur while he was in Mylapore. He said it will take more time for him and advised to send some other cab driver else I might miss the flight but operator told him that don’t worry about time we have confirmed his flight time and you just go there… Stupid girls are hired as fast-track operator or what??

My luck is so bad today that there was traffic throughout the route and it took 1 hour instead of 30 min journey. Driver told me to call him if I get a flight. He was really a good guy. I rushed to the air India counter at 8 and that guy calmly inform me sorry sir gates are closed!! I don’t complain to this guy as he is right.

Last flights from Chennai to Mumbai are only up to 8/9 in the night after that next flights are in the morning. There is no other way but to book the high priced ticket (Its really high ) and wait at the airport L I had booked my flight ticket 1 month ago and also booked cab to pick me up from Mumbai airport (That guy called me just now to inform that he is waiting!!)

So here I am waiting in the airport terminal for early morning 5.45 flight. My ending moments in Chennai are spoiled by this stupid Fast track cab service… May be god wants me to spend one more night in Chennai!! Who knows…?

Update : Reached Mumbai.. Paid extra 1k for luggage… But feels so good to be back J
