Samsung releases B3310 as Corby Mate in India

Well, looks like Samsung is on a roll these days. The company recently introduced the Galaxy Spica in Russia. Samsung has now launched the Corby Mate in India, reports Techfresh.

Although the handset is known as the B3310 in Europe, Samsung has released the handset in India as a part of the Corby family and calls it the Corby Mate. This handset comes embedded with a full QWERTY keypad and a 2-inch QVGA display. The numeric keypad of this phone has been arranged in a unique vertical arrangement on the right side of the screen.

The Corby Mate offers support for various social networking services. The 2 megapixel camera of this handset features multiple shooting modes and is also capable of recording videos at a speed of 15 fps. It also supports quad-band GSM connectivity. The other unique specifications include Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio, music player, 40MB of internal memory and support for microSD card.

Well, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the Samsung Corby Mate smartphone as yet. But the handset has been put up on the company’s official website.
